Key responsibilities:

Ensure the maintenance and proper operation of ground support equipment (GSE) used by portway in aircraft handling operations, safeguarding the safety of people, assets, and equipment;
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation of equipment and contribute to the continuous improvement of facilities;
Analyse, diagnose, inspect, and monitor the operating condition of portway equipment;
Assist in the preparation of Maintenance Plans;
Carry out repair and overhaul work;
Comply with portway's maintenance, safety, and environmental procedures;
Ensure the continuous updating and effective use of portway's Maintenance Management System;
Carry out the duties and responsibilities defined by the Quality and Environmental Management System.

Key responsibilities:

Perform passenger and baggage check-in in accordance with the procedures established by the respective airline customer;
Verify passengers' travel documentation;
Resolve any irregular or special situations that may arise during the check-in process;
Plan and coordinate assistance for special cases, following portway's internal procedures and the requirements of the respective airline customer;
Determine and communicate the number of buses required for passenger boarding and disembarkation;
Carry out passenger boarding in accordance with airline procedures, including delivering the boarding announcement;
Reconcile the passenger manifest, record any no-shows at the boarding gate, and report this information to the relevant supervisor.

Key responsibilities:

Provide ground handling services to aircraft operated by portway's airline customers, ensuring the safe loading and unloading of cargo, mail, and baggage in accordance with internal procedures and airline requirements;
Position and remove safety cones to secure the operational area during aircraft handling;
Position and remove aircraft wheel chocks;
Operate ground support equipment (GSE) required for ramp operations, including passenger stairs, boarding bridges, loaders, and ground power units (GPUs);
Service aircraft by emptying waste tanks and replenishing potable water supplies;
Open aircraft cargo compartments;
Operate and drive vehicles required for ground operations between aircraft, terminals, and parking areas;
Perform aircraft pushback operations.
